Through the murky swamps I glide
My yellow eyes I try to hide
I drift as silent as a log
A friend to you and every frog!
Don't get too close. Something about this
ponderous pond-dweller tells us he might be an amphibian with an
appetite. And not entirely trustworthy, either. Maybe it's the
elastic spring of his curvy tail, or his powerful-looking legs with
their soft triple "claws." Maybe it's that mottled velour alligator
skin: its pea-green and heliotrope hues look far too temptingly soft
and pettable. Maybe it's the sheen of those bottle-green spines
along his back, gleaming with faux water droplets. (Care for a
swim?) Probably, though, it's those hypnotic eyes: icy yellow globes
with the merest slice of a pupil. Stare at them too long and you're
done for--he'll own you. Although Swampy is a youngish alligator (he
was born on January 24, 2000), if you dare to stretch his tail out
all the way, you'll find he's already 12 inches long. So you'll do
well to be on the qui vive. He looks hungry.

Babies - Ty
As Sammy steps up to the plate,
The crowd gets excited, can hardly wait,
We know Sammy won't let us down,
He makes the happiest fans in town!
Sammy bear, born on June 23, 1998, is one heavy hitter. This brightly
colored, tie-dyed bear cub was named for the great home run hitter Sammy
Sosa of the Chicago Cubs. He arrives lying down, probably resting up for his
next turn at bat--but you can place him in a sitting pose as well. He has
black button eyes and nose on his winning face. Boys and girls (and even
adults) will love this bear--he's a great toy or a welcome addition to your
collection. Surface wash only.

Hippie the Ty Dye Bunny May 4, 1998

While coloring eggs one spring day.
From the tips of his ears down to his toes
The color of springtime he proudly shows!

Hoppity, and Flippity Beanie Baby bunnies, and is also just perfect on his

a spring morning. He sits up tall and proud, showing off the long, pink
whiskers on either side of his pink button nose. His long, floppy ears are

Ty Beanie Babie
Squirmy the Caterpillar
When he's not busy measuring the marigolds, this velvety soft inchworm is
happy to cuddle. Squirmy's soft plush head and sectioned, bean-filled body
are iridescent green, so he's easy to spot (unless he's camouflaging himself
on a leaf). He has bright green and black eyes, yellow yarn antennae, and a
smile made of red thread. Born on April 13, 2000, Squirmy measures 12 inches
long and comes with a plastic tag protector.

TY Beanie Baby Peace
With tie-dyed fur and a sweet,
peaceful face, this bear looks like she's straight out of the 1960s. But
alas, this now-retired Beanie Baby is much younger: she was born on February
1, 1996. Her poem reads:
All races, all colors, under the sun
Join hands together and have some fun
Dance to the music, rock and roll is the sound
Symbols of peace and love abound!
Peace, a favorite among collectors, is a classic Ty bear with an adorable
face and black button eyes. Emblazoned on her chest is a peace symbol
sharing her message of harmony. Surface washable only.

Morrie the Eel
Over, under, upside and down
Morrie loves to swim all around
He looks like a snake--could be a fish
To be your best friend is his only wish!
Born on February 20, 2000, Morrie looks
just like a moray eel--with slightly spooky yellow eyes,
sharp-looking white (felt) teeth, and a big, wide-open mouth. This
soft and cuddly fellow just wants to give you a big love bite,
honest. Give him a squeeze and you'll see he's the sweetest eel you
ever pet, er, met. His scaly-looking green-and-yellow velveteen
length (trimmed with a glowing orange "ruffle") curls sweetly in
your hand or around your neck or wrist. Morrie's got soft, pebbly
fill and is made of surface-washable polyester.

Ty Beanie Babies Hissy
the Snake
Hissy is a snake that won't make your
skin crawl. He was born on April 4, 1997, and his poem reads:
Curled and coiled and ready to play
He waits for you patiently every day
He'll keep his nest friend, but not his skin
And stay with you through thick and thin!
Hissy is twisted into a tight coil, and his scales are a contrast of bright
green on his underbelly and tie-dyed dark blue and green on his upper body.
His large head sports two big black button eyes and a velveteen forked
tongue. Hissy is full of fun and charm. Surface wash only.

TY BEANIE BABIES /
BABY - ZODIAC SNAKE Plush Beanbag
Part of the Ty Zodiac Collection, the
Snake was born in 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, and, most recently, 2001.
With one seam slightly gathered, this Snake coils very naturally. Though
softer to the touch than a real snake, the mottled diamond pattern in brown,
black, and white is visually convincing. Features include steely orange
eyes, a red mouth, and shiny golden tongue. It is surface washable. --
