The Saint Bernard is a most loyal
breed. You'll have a lifelong friend in Bernie. He was born October 3, 1996,
and his poem reads:
This little dog can't wait to grow
To rescue people lost in the snow
Don't let him out--keep him on your shelf
He doesn't know how to rescue himself.
Bernie has the markings of a champion; cream-colored fabric covers his
underbelly, paws, collar, forehead, muzzle, and the tip of his tail. Dark
brown floppy ears surround his face and black fabric frames his real-looking
eyes. A black nose sits above a black thread mouth. Surface wash only.

Spunky the Cocker
Spaniel Dog Beanie Babies
Spunky, a bundle of puppy love, was born
January 14, 1997. His poem reads:
Bouncing around without much grace
To jump on your lap and lick your face
But watch him closely, he has no fears
He'll run so fast, he'll trip over his ears!
Light brown from muzzle to tail, this is a
Beanie Baby with a lot of spunk. His eyes are black buttons; he has
a real-looking black nose and a black thread mouth. But it's the
ears that are the killer--long, curly-haired, and fabulous! A
favorite with collectors. Surface wash only.

Sniffer the Dog
This old hound dog lies permanently
reclined, but he stares upward with a hopeful expression that suggests he's
ready to leap to his feet the moment he's called. Sniffer has a soft,
bean-filled plush body with slightly ragged cinnamon-colored fur. He has
prominent brows and long, floppy ears, and his muzzle, belly, and the tips
of his feet and tail are white, while his droopy eyes are ink-black.
According to his tag (which comes with a plastic protector), this 8-inch pup
was born on May 6, 2000.

Stretch the Ostrich
Stretch the ostrich Beanie Buddy (a larger version of the Beanie Baby) is so
very proud that she keeps her head held high. As her tag reads, she "is one
of the most difficult to produce due to her long neck and numerous parts."
She's definitely a medley of attention to detail. Her shell is composed of
two different textures for contrast: a brown, long-napped fabric body, and
neck, head, legs, and feet of curly napped beige. She has a beak of beige
felt and nostrils of black thread. Stretch also has plastic eyes, beige
underwings, and white wingtips and tail. Her shell has the most luxurious
feel you'll ever find on a plush toy; inside, she's made of polyester fiber
and PE pellets in a cloth bag. She makes a wonderful toy or addition to a
collection. Surface wash only.

~Tiptoe the Rat
Creeping quietly along the wall,
Little footprints fast and small,
Tiptoeing through the house with ease,
Searching for a piece of cheese!
This mouse wouldn't scare a ... well, mouse. Tiptoe was born on January 8,
1999. He has a brown and gray mottled coat and tail that are pleasant to the
touch. He sits on all fours, waiting for you to offer him a bit of cheese.
His "claws" are made from a neutral-color felt, as are his ears. Black
thread is used for his whiskers and mouth, and he has black button eyes.
Tiptoe would make the perfect gift for a boy or girl, or a great addition to
a collection. Surface wash only.

Sneaky the Cat Beanie
Baby
The poem on Sneaky's tag reads: "A
shadow in the dark you'll see / Don't be afraid, it's only me / My spots
will hide me 'til I see / That you are just the friend for me." It's hard to
imagine this little leopard stealthily maneuvering through the nighttime
African landscape and stalking its prey. What is easier to imagine is this
baby leopard cuddling with a doting owner under the bed covers or carefully
perched on a proud collector's shelf. The tawny colors and dark rosettes on
its realistic-looking fur make this plush predator especially striking. But
it's the delicate pink cat nose and wide amber eyes that give Sneaky an aura
of sweetness. Sneaky, who was born on February 22, is one of the Ty's year
2000 babies.

Ty Beanie Babies Freckles the Spotted
Leopard
Freckles will never change his spots. He was born on June 3, 1996.
His poem reads:
From the trees he hunts prey
In the night and in the day
He's the king of camouflage
Look real close he's no mirage!
Gorgeous gold and brown spots cover Freckles's cream-colored
body. Big golden eyes look at the world with wonder. Black thread
whiskers fan out from beside a hard, pink velveteen nose. Talk about
animal magnetism! Freckles the Leopard is very collectible. Surface
wash only.

Ty Beanie Babies Beak
the Kiwi Bird
One look at this Beanie Baby and
you'll know how she got her name. Beak was born February 3, 1998, and her
poem reads:
Isn't this just the funniest Bird?
When we saw her, we said "how absurd"
Looks aren't everything, this we know
Her love for you, she's sure to show!
Beak's little body and wings are covered in a curly napped brown tie-dyed
fabric, and soft brown fabric lines her feet and the underside of her wing.
Two gold and black real-looking eyes sit on either side of her head. Her
enormously long beak is made of light-brown felt and is decorated with two
thread nostrils. The effect is quite authentic. Surface wash only.

Ty Beanie Babies Fuzz
the Bear
Look closely at this handsome bear.
His texture is really quite rare.
With golden highlights in his hair,
He has class, style, and flare!
Fuzz was born July 23, 1998. Once you pick up this desirable--and
unbelievably soft--bear you might have a hard time putting him down. His
eyes and nose are black buttons; the look on his face tells you he will be a
trusted and time-honored friend. A navy-blue satin ribbon is tied around his
neck. This Beanie Baby appeals to both boys and girls. Fuzz is a great toy
or a welcome addition to your collection. Surface wash only.

Sarge the Dog Beanie
Baby
I defend you, so count on me
To stay by your side, that's where I'll be
Protect and serve is what I do
For just a little hug from you!
Born on February 14, 2000, this German
shepherd pup quickly takes charge of your heartstrings. Sarge's
forehead, ears, nape, back, and tail are covered with long, thick,
brown-and-silver fur, and his legs, belly, and face are velvety
tan--making him a total pleasure to pet and cuddle. Sarge stands
erect, but you'll probably want to have him "Sit!"--the better to
see his sweet puppy face, with its bright black eyes and lifelike,
wet-looking black nose. Posable Sarge is made from surface-washable
polyester with soft pebble fill.

Graduation Owl Wisest
He's no birdbrain! Whether your child
just graduated from preschool or you just picked up a third Ph.D., you have
something in common with this brainy, brown Beanie owl. Eight inches high,
it sports a yellow cloth beak, black-and-yellow button eyes, a black bow
tie, and a traditional black graduate's cap with a yellow tassel and a Class
of '00 logo. Our guess: It just flew in from the commencement ceremony,
after graduating summa cum laude in Hooting, Scratch Theory, and Mousicology.
