When You Say Nothing At All

Its amazing how you can speak right to my heart,
without saying a word you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
what I hear when you don't say a thing.
The smile in your face lets me know that you need me.
The truth in your eyes says that you'll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall..
You say it best, when you say nothing at all.
All day long I can hear people talking about,
But when you hold me near you drown out the crowd.
Old Mr.Webster could never define
What's being said between your heart and mine.
The smile in your face lets me know that you need me.
The truth in your eyes says that you'll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall..
You say it best, when you say nothing at all.
The smile in your face lets me know that you need me.
The truth in your eyes says that you'll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall..
You say it best, when you say nothing at all.

(written by Don Shilitz and Paul Overstreet)

"A meeting was held quite far from earth
It's time again for another birth,
said the angels to the Lord above.
This special child will need much love.

His progress may seem very slow,
accomplishments, he may not show
and he'll require extra care
from the folks he meets down there

He may not run or laugh or play
his thoughts may seem quite far away,
In many ways he won't adapt
and he'll be known as handicapped.

So let's be careful where he's sent,
we want his life to be content.
Please Lord, find the parents who,
will do a special job for you.

They will not realize right away
the leading role they're asked to play
but with this child sent from above
comes stronger faith and richer love.

And soon they'll know the privelege given
in caring for this gift from Heaven.
Their precious charge, so meek, so mild
is Heaven's very special child."
